It’s progress, not perfection, as they say. Every artist would say they are getting it at least half right some days. This smaller painting is a study of the details of this arrangement. Learning the shape and movement of the parrot tulip. Attempting to capture the contrasts of greens and purples throughout.

This painting is a “little sister” to the other paintings “Details! Details!” and “25.”

Acrylic on canvas 16”x12", gallery-wrapped (1.5” thickness). Painting continues over edges. Wired hanger. Unframed.
